Sandyford Parish Bereavement Support  Group :
First Wednesday of Month 7.30pm

Bethany Bereavement Support Group is a voluntary parish ministry which aims to help the bereaved and grieving.  It is quite normal to feel anger, guilt, fear, depression and an awful sense of loss after the passing of a loved one.

These feelings need to be expressed rather than repressed, to be talked about, cried over and put in some sort of perspective. It aids the healing process to talk with a trained listener and confront the very strong feelings associated with grief.

Many Bethany members have themselves been bereaved.  They are trained and equipped to listen and help support the bereaved through the grieving process.  Bethany Bereavement Support Group help the bereaved in two main ways:

1) With one to one support and group sessions in the Parish Room of St. Mary’s Church, Sandyford Village on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 7:30 – 8:30 pm.  No appointment is necessary. There is no fee for this service.

You can contact the Bereavement Support Group on the following mobile number 0872983591 or by calling the parish office 2956414 at St. Mary’s, Sandyford or email office@sandyfordparish.org.

CollectOn Thursday 4 June the Parish of Sandyford, Kilternan and Glencullen celebrated Fr Andrew O’Sullivan’s 20th Anniversary of Ordination.  Friends and family came from far and wide to join in the wonderful liturgy topped off by fabulous food prepared lovingly by parishioners. Without the dedicated and wonderful work of many volunteers this great celebration would not have been possible and all their efforts to coordinate and plan such an exceptional evening are greatly appreciated.
