we are delighted to inform you the Parishes of Sandyford, Kilternan, Glencullen and Balally are starting a new programme called Teen Hope this autumn.
This is an exciting new initiative that we hope will get support from our communities. We believe it will provide a fun environment for our teenagers to ‘hang out’ within the safety of our community.
Where? The new Parish Centre at Saint Marys, Sandyford Village will be the venue. When? The start date is yet to be confirmed but it is hoped the Parish Centre will be ready in time for the meetings to start towards the end of October or beginning of November 2017.
How? The sessions will take place on a week night from 8.00 –9.30 between the autumn to springtime.
What? Teen Hope is a parish and faith based youth initiative for teenagers following a new and creative programme developed by the Dublin Archdiocese Youth Office. Each session includes light refreshments, games, videos, discussion and the opportunity for young people to grow in the Catholic faith. In a nutshell, a Youth Club with a faith element.
Who? All teens aged between 13-15yrs (first to third year) are invited to join and participate in the sessions. The sessions will be supervised and led by adult volunteers who have been trained and are supported by Archdiocese Youth Officers.
