Pray that those who feel weary from the heaviness of life,
and even long for its end, many sense the closeness of God’s love.
That the celebration of Wold Missions Day may make all
Christians aware that they are not only recipients but also
proclaimers of the Word of God
Sandyford came alive with re dedication of Our Lady’s Statue. Parishioners were delighted with the Statue’s re-appearing after 12 years!Mass was followed by procession to Statue and this was a very moving ceremony.
Refreshments were gratefully received, with a fine selection of home made treats. Everyone appreciates that the Statue, a local landmark, has being restored and hope that Our Lady will serve to guide the people to our Parish but also in our daily lives. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this possible.
