Sandyford Parish new Children’s Club deferred to Autumn.

The Children’s Club is a response to parents’ requests to have a follow on from First Holy Communion.
The Club aims to provide a safe and nurturing space for children in 3rd and 4th class to meet, play games and have a faith based drama or craft activity.
Our new Pastoral Centre gives us the opportunity to develop activities and clubs that will give children and adults a positive experience of parish life, with welcome, age appropriate activities  and participation at its heart.

Facilitators : Gillian O’Dwyer,
Eimear Dwyer and Gráinne Prior.
Between them, the co-ordinators have many years of experience teaching and
in parish ministry.

Tea/Coffee making facilities for parents/guardians at drop off/collection/or awaiting collection.

Parishes of Sandyford, Balally, Church of Ireland Kilternan, invite you to take some Time for Yourself!

Have you ever wished you had more time to reflect a little on your life, on its meaning, on your relationship with God …. ?
A Week of Guided Prayer which the parish is offering from February 17th – 23rd will do just that.  A WGP is also called a retreat in daily life.  You don’t have to go away to a retreat house but you have the opportunity to meet a trained Prayer Guide for half an hour each day.  A Prayer Guide will first of all listen to you, and then, through the use of Scripture, guide you to recognise where God is with you and has been with you in all the ups and downs of your life.  Further information will be given at all Masses this weekend, and people will be available after Mass to answer any further questions you may have and to hand out leaflets for application etc.
Don’t let this unique opportunity pass you by….!
